The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Nepali Embassy in New Delhi have not been officially informed about the top brass political leaders’ proposed visit to New Delhi until Sunday noon. Officials at the embassy said that the ‘Delhi invited the Nepali leaders at their own requests.’ UCPN (Maoist) Chairman and Former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is scheduled to arrive here in Delhi on Tuesday. Also, CPN-UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, Nepali Congress’s Sher Bahadur Deuba and Ram Chandra Poudel too are preparing to arrive in Delhi soon. “The Indian External Ministry has hinted us that the invitations were extended at the repeated requests from Nepali politicians themselves,” said a senior official at Nepali embassy, “It appears that even Nepali Foreign Ministry at Kathmandu is unaware about the schedule and list of this visits.” Nepali ambassador to New Delhi Deep Kumar Upadhyay said the Nepali leaders visiting Delhi should discharge their duties by sticking to the diplomatic norms.
