Malaysians planning to visit Bangkok, Thailand for holidays are advised to contact the embassy first for advice. Deputy Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican said Malaysians were also reminded to adhere closely to restrictions imposed by the local authorities in Thailand following Monday’s bomb blast in Bangkok. “The embassy has also provided special line (for Malaysians to contact),” he told reporters after visting family members of a victim, Lee Tze Siang who was killed in the incident in Bangkok, Thailand at his father’s residence. Four Malaysians were killed and three injured in the bomb blast at 7pm on Monday evening. Besides Tze Siang, 33, other victims who lost their lives were Lim Su Gaik, 49; Lee Jing Xuan, four, and Neoh Jai Jun, 20, who were holidaying in Bangkok. The bodies of all four Malaysian victims are being brought home Wednesday.
