Police found a fake bomb, complete with cables, at the Israeli Embassy in Uruguay this week, for the third time this year. It was discovered in front of the embassy, located near Montovideo’s World Trade Center complex, at the same time of a Boycott Israel protest outside the building. Approximately 30 people attended the rally with Palestinian Authority flags. Three other fake bombs have been planted at the embassy, one of them, last November and two of them this year that were placed n a supermarket bag and a sardine can. No one has been arrested, but one suspect fled to Iran after being ordered to appear for questioning. Iran accused Israel of planting the bomb to create “Iranophobia.”
