A programme manager with the embassy of Sweden was yesterday arraigned in a Nairobi court charged with stealing over Sh2.8 million. Nicholas Imbugwa Andika who appeared before Chief Magistrate Daniel Ogembo denied the charge and was granted bond of Sh2million with a similar surety or cash bail of Sh500,000 pending the hearing of the case on July 7. In the same court, businesswoman Evalyne Bochre Makori was charged with stealing Sh548,431 from Equity Bank, Kajiado Branch. She was released on a bond of Sh1 million with similar surety pending mention of the case on May 3.
