Slovenian Foreign Minister Karl Viktor Erjavec said his country is intended to reopen its embassy in Tehran following the implementation of the JCPOA and removal of sanctions against Iran. During a meeting with Iran’s Ambassador to Slovenia Morteza Darzi Ramandi, Erjavec underlined that Ljubljana will send its temporary chargé d’affaires to Tehran to reopen Slovenia’s embassy. The Iranian ambassador on his part described Slovenia’s decision to reopen its embassy in Tehran as a constructive measure.
