Palestine’s embassy has been officially opened in Ashgabat, the Turkmen government said on November 16. The opening of the embassy reflects the mutual understanding and trust between Turkmenistan and Palestine, the Turkmen Dovlet Habarlary state news agency reported Nov. 16. Palestine’s President Mahmoud Abbas paid an official visit to Turkmenistan November 13-15. The bilateral documents were signed at the highest level following the talks. During the talks, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov assured Palestinian counterpart that the Turkmen side will create all necessary conditions for the embassy’s activity.
